I prefer the sound and the look of Jack Walden, but Jack William is very sweet, too.

I prefer the good, strong, classic Jack William myself.

TBH the sound is similar enough that I can't really decide, but I said Jack Walden because it's a more interesting/unique combo.

Both are nice but I think Walden adds something unexpected

While I agree with the others that Jack Walden is nicely unexpected, I love the name William too! So... I didn't vote and I'm no help at all.

Yes, we love the unique quality of Walden but also the classic appeal of William.

As a first name, I would say William over Walden. However, I think Walden is a more interesting middle, and spices up Jack. I prefer the sound of William though. If I were in this naming situation, I'd look to the significance of each name. Is one an honour name? Do you like the meaning of the names? When explaining the meaning of your sons name to him, which would be more significant?
