Rough / Scottish Collie dog name

I’m getting a collie soon (think “Lassie” type).
It will be mahogany sable (I often like to name a pet based loosely on color - so brown, yellow, orange, copper tones). Most mahogany names sound like hair dye to me...

I don’t like human names for dogs with the exception of human names that are more often used for pets anyway. While the dog is “Scottish”, I’m not and feel dumb using a Scottish name.

I’m probably getting a male dog, but most names I think of are feminine sounding. I like Noisette or Hazelnut but I think it sounds like a female dog. I like Topaz too because a former cat I had was named after a precious stone.

I currently have two family cats named after Italian drinks, but I didn’t name them. Still I’ve thought of continuing the trend. Bellini is an option. Or I thought Biscotto. But it’s not like we’re Italian either.

    Ideas?

    Maybe:

    Acorn
    Apricot
    Chestnut
Jasper (This is a name, but I'm suggesting it because of the rust coloured stone)
    Pecan

    Drink names:
    Bourbon
    Cappuccino (nickname poochie?)
    Chai
    Cognac
    Earl Grey
    Scotch
    Whisky
