** This may be too close to your previous top pick and I don't know if you want 2 L names in a row for him but I like the name
Thank you so much for your suggestions!

Calloway and Faraday is really cool, never considered them before and will see what boyfriend thinks! Also like Ishmael and Lysander!

Here are some others that may work that I dig, but my wife wasn't into:

    Aldous
    Arlo
    Arno
    Bastien
    Callum
    Finn
    Lucien
    Oscar
    Silas
    Rufus
    Ronan
    Stellan
    Idris
I like Oscar but it’s been top 10 here for many years which rules it out for me

I had Lucien on my list and we talked about Silas as an option just yesterday!

Idris, Arlo and Aldous I will take back to boyfriend!

It does indeed seem like we have similar taste in names! Thank you for your help!

Esaias is actually my sister’s top choice for her future son! I agree it’s a great name!

Names ending in —son is not usable since the -son ending is the mist common for last names here and it’s not allowed to name your baby a typical last name as a first name

I really like Wesley; I think it is cool and handsome but boyfriend thinks it’s a girl’s name(?)

After lots of thinking it became clear his name is Evan! Easy to spell and say, works in both countries, not at all common where we live and also honours my grand father. It just suits him very well! Thanks for all of your suggestions!
