    Lavender

Hello, Nameberry! After sitting on my extended list for quite some time I've started looking for a place for Lavender again. I have a few questions, but feel free to just answer one if you'd like:

What's your opinion of Lavender as a middle name? How about as a first name?

What suggestions do you have for nicknames? (I'm all for creative nicknames, by the way. Get as out there as you want in terms of connection to the original name.)

    Thanks!

Frances Lavender, Clara Dandelion, Mabel Cornelia Violet

As a middle, Lavender is sweet and fresh- I like it. As a first, it's bold but definitely usable

Lavender is a gp name for me. I think Evie or Avie work as nn.

I really like the nickname suggestions of Avie, Andie, and Vera from previous posters! Lavender isn't a name I'd use in the first spot, but paired with a classic first I think it could be a wonderful middle.

Thanks all! I really like the suggestions of Via, Vera, Andie, and Avie as nicknames and the feedback helps a lot.
