is it safe to be in walker ..?

i have a 9 month old baby boy, who weighs 22 lb. 5 oz. and is 30 inc. long. Do you think that it is safe for him to be in a walker?

I have never used them. The reason we didn't is just because we have never had enough room for them to get around in them but they have also never looked particularly safe to me.

This is an interesting read and outlines some of the risks. https://kidshealth.org/en/parents/products-walkers.html

I don't think the walkers that a baby sits in and 'walks' with are considered safe. We've never used them. Our babies have always enjoyed bouncing in stationary excersaucers though.

I don't think walkers are really safe to begin with. They are banned where I live.
What do the instructions for your walker say, with regards to weight and height?
