I love Merida! Gorgeous name, and it pairs wonderfully with Lorelei.
Waddup, I’m Abby, I’m 19, and I never learned how to read.

Congrats! Your daughter has a wonderful name. From your current list, I like Merida best. It's beautiful, adventurous, and uncommon, but also pronounceable. I also adore Helena.

I'd like to suggest Zelia and Celia. Celia reminds me a lot of Margaux, and Zelia reminds me of Merida and is similar to Zelda from your signature. Zerelia may also be a longer option with the same benefits as Zelia. I can't vouch for the ease of any of their pronunciations in German or Spanish.

My two favourites are Merida and Margaux, with Lorelei. I'd say my favourite of the two is Merida by a hair.

I like both Margaux (love this spelling) and Helena from your list. And I second the suggestions of Zara and Celia.

Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions.
Sadly we are still stuck and no closer to a consensus.

Our current list of names that we both dont hate is now:
Helena, Josephina (it breaks the rule but...), Margaux, Merida, Magnolia, Paloma, Savannah, and Viola

I think if I'd really feel like one was right I could advocate for it more strongly. At 6mo I though Margaux was it now I wish it were Freyja but DH really dislikes Freyja.... sigh.... Maybe if we settle on a mn it will make a first name easier. <shurg>

As said I really apprechiate all your input... even though I didn't respond individually as I usually would.
