    Winnie?

    Any ideas for names that could be shortened to Winnie other than Edwina or Winifred? Looking for something more timeless/classic.

    Wilhelmina, perhaps? Similar feel to Edwina and Winifred, though ...

    My first thought was Gwendoline. The -ine spelling might make the link more obvious.

    Honestly, I’ve been thinking of just Winnie lately. I hate all the longer forms, but absolutely adore Winnie. I’m usually all about having a longer name, but none of them feel right to me.
