    Brother for Louise Faustine

We’re expecting #2 this winter and though we have a handle on girl’s names (Delphine is the current favorite, Constance/Colette are close seconds), we are dead stuck on boy’s names. Big sis is Louise Faustine. Hub’s whole family is in France, where they roll their eyes at any name not recognizably French. I’m not a fan of the top names there atm (Gabriel, Mateo, etc) but am struggling to find a middle ground. My background is Scottish/Jewish, so bonus points for translateable Gaelic names/names starting with ‘M’ or ‘H.’

Some we have liked but have trouble imagining working in the US:
Marius (Les Mis connection too strong?)
    Valentin (my favorite, unfortunately)
    Emile (too close to Emily)
Yves (old fashioned even in France, too easily confused with Eve in English)

    Any ideas?
