Albert (Albie) - this is our favourite but friends have just chosen it!
Oh, hi again and thank you for revisiting this

I've always had a soft spot for Frederic, with the nickname Freddie but DH doesn't agree. And Archie is great but I've been hearing it around a lot lately. Albert isn't really my taste but I'm liking Albie!!

Oscar sounds better with Adelaide, in my opinion. I prefer the spelling Lewis to Louis.

We intend to say Louis using the French pronunciation, 'Lou-ee'. Lewis to me is a completely different name & pronunciation, but thank you for your feedback

The popularity depends on where you live, i live in France and there are A LOT of Louis here, in your country i don't know..I love the name Louis even if that's a popular name here.
