    It's a nature place name to me, definitely usable--both the mighty River Severn in England and Wales and the modest Severn River system in Ontario are great associations.

    Environmentalist David Suzuki has a daughter named Severn, who is an environmentalist in her own right.

    I much prefer Severin. Severn seems like a misspelled or made up name. Love the nn Sev though!
