    Alternatives to Marlow

I’m pregnant with my second boy and have been wanting to call him Marlow, Mars for short, since before I was even pregnant.

My husband hates the name though. He will consider almost anything else and has no suggestions of his own.

I am also a little worried that the name seems to be becoming more popular as a girls name.

I would appreciate any other suggestions. No other name seems right.

It's a favorite girls name for me for ages.

I love the suggestions for Arlo.

    Would you consider just Mars?

    "Mars"

    Marsden /Marsten/Marston
    Marshall
    Marcel
    Marcellous
    Marco
    Marek <means dedicated to Mars
    Marius
    Markel
    Marlon/Marlin
    Marx
Marley <---also unisex but met a man in Scotland with this name and fell in love with it on boys
