English and European Aristocratic and Royal Names

I started collecting some of these names (first and middles) for mostly English but some others from about the last 200 years. There are lots of Victoria and Elizabeth for understandable reasons. Do you have any favorites or see any under-used classics or names due for a comeback here? I'll post a corresponding note in the baby boy name forum too.

Let me work on the 'A's first. I'd like to mention that I know most royal names are given with more thought to heritage (honour names and significance) than to flow. So first I'll give feedback on the names as they are, and then suggestion combinations that I think would be beautiful.

Adelaide Margaret Delia - I love the look of Margaret Delia, but I find Adelaide to be heavy and clunky, making Delia look redundant and Margaret look drab.
Adeliza Matilda - this name is pretty amazing! I'd love to see Adeliza make a comeback. Surely with both Adele and Eliza rising on the popularity charts this would make sense. I'd pronounce it add-uh-LEES-uh.
Agnes Elizabeth - classic, but I'd put something more quirky and romantic with Agnes.
Alice Christabel - wow, I love Christabel! Too bad I find Alice to be such an uptight and prim sounding name.
Alice Elizabeth Margaret - yikes. I feel like these names are dragging each other down with their propriety.
Alice Margaret Frances - Margaret Frances has a lovely sound and look. Alice and Frances together in the same name has too many "ess" sounds.
Alice Mary Victoria Augusta Pauline - now Mary is virtually the only name that I think picks Alice up and makes it look pretty. Though I'd reverse them, though, as Mary Alice. I love, love, love, Victoria Augusta, Augusta Pauline, and Victoria Augusta Pauline. Mary in front of it doesn't spoil it.
Alice Maud Mary - a famous name, lol. Like I said, I like what Mary does to Alice and certainly Maud can do no wrong.
Alethea Constance Dorothy - just really beautiful. Full of substance and interesting sounds that aren't typical. I probably wouldn't use Alethea Dorothy without a name between them, and in this case Constance is perfect.
Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia - gorgeous!
Alexandra Frances Anne - I don't like how there is are "ann" sounds already in Alexandra AND Frances that Anne repeats.
Alexandra Helen Elizabeth Olga Christabel - Hmmm, this should work better than it does. I'd change the order and probably drop Elizabeth.
Alexandra Lucy Clare - very pretty, but Alexandra feels a bit heavy and dramatic next to the pretty Lucy Clare
Alexandra Victoria Edwina Diana - stunning. I love it. There are a lot of 'D's in the name but it's so very STRONG and REGAL.
Alexandrina Victoria - lol, a famous name. Of course it's perfect.
Amabel Clare Alice - since Amabel is one of my pet favourite names, even blechy old Alice can't ruin this name.
Amanda Patricia Victoria - I love Amanda Victoria, it sounds very rich. Patricia is a good name but here I don't care for it.
Ambrosia Maria Elizabeth - lovely! Just beautful!
Angela Christine Rose - utterly gorgeous.
Angela Mary Rose - I think if this were 100 years ago I'd think Angela to be quite stunning, but now it isn't exciting enough to have such commonplace middle names and the whole thing is lacklustre.
Angela Selina Bianca - I like it but would probably use Angela Selena Bianca instead.
Angelica Margherita Edwina - this name is a hot mess, lol.
    Anna Elizabeth - sigh. Boring.
Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise - Anne is so much more interesting than Anna. I actually like saying this name out loud. It flows musically.
Anne Elizabeth Grania - I don't know what Grania is.
Anne Emily - heroines from LM Montgomery novels.
Anne Evelyn Beatrice - I have an Aunt name Evelyn Beatrice so that's all I see here, lol! So funny!
Anne Frances Mary - dislike repeating 'Ann' sounds and Mary isn't exciting enough for that to be worth it.
Anne Mary Sibylla - lovely! I especially like the use of 'Y's in the name with different pronunciations.
Annabel Elizabeth Helene - too many "el"s. I can't get past it.
Annabel Lucy Veronica - the sheer gorgeousness of Lucy Veronica makes Annabel seem boring!
    Antoinette Ghislaine - love!!!
Antonia Elizabeth Brigid Louise - I like it. Antonia is stunning and so is Brigid. The repeating 'Z' sounds in Elizabeth and Louise are bothering me. I'm not sure the overall flow is great.
Antonia Mary Catherine - likeable. Mary seems excessive and doesn't add. I prefer just Antonia Catherine.
Arabella Ann Teresa - I love this name, it looks great on the page. Out loud I prefer Arabella Ann or Arabella Teresa instead of all 3.
Arabella Diana - gorgeous I'd use this name in a heartbeat.
Araminta Clementine Megan - Megan is unexpected. Too many 'M's in this name. It seems very fancy. Unnecessarily so.
Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie - beautiful!!!!
Audrey Lavinia - seems a little bit off balance, but each name is so beautiful on their own it's not like they can ruin each other when combined.
Augusta Elizabeth Frederica - oh yes. Love it. Elizabeth grounds Augusta and Frederica, but doesn't take away from the breadth of this sweeping beauty.
Augusta Lily - love it! And I'm not even such a big fan of Lily, but it really works here.
Avice Ela Murial - ok, so anglicized it would look like this: Avis Ella Muriel. Not bad.

    Favourites:
    1. Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie

Beatrice Constance - too much 'ess'
Beatrice Edith Mildred - too much 'iiii' sound (like the beginning of 'ill' or 'ick'. That said, I do like the strength of a combination that has no names ending in 'a' or an 'ee' sound.
Beatrice Elizabeth Mary - I don't like Elizabeth and Beatrice together.
Beatrice Leopoldine Victoria - done and done. My new favourite name. What could be better.
Beatrice Mary Victoria Feodore - very beautiful.
Beatrice Victoria - I always recommend Victoria as a middle name for Beatrice. This name is perfect.
Beatrix Alice Marie Melita Margarete - I only wish Alice was Alicia and then it would be perfect. I love the alliteration.
Bettine Violet Malcolm - Bettine Violet is so wonderful it's like a fairy name. I don't understand the Malcolm part.
Birgitta Ingeborg Alice - This name is everything.
Blanche Georgiana - doesn't flow well when said aloud.
Blanche Katherine - does't flow well and it's a little stodgy.
Blanche Mary Harriet - I don't like the rhyme of Mary Harriet
Brigid Katherine Rachel - Rachel is surprising but doesn't ruin the lovely Brigid Katherine.

    Favourite
    1. Birgitta Ingeborg Alice and Beatrice Leopoldine Victoria

    2. Beatrice Victoria
    3. Beatrice Mary Victoria Feodore
    4. Bettine Violet Malcolm
    5. Beatrix Alice Marie Melita Margarete
    6. Brigid Katherine Rachel

    Some "Royal" combinations:

    Beatrix Alicia Victoria
    Bettine Violet Georgiana
    Birgitta Leopoldine Victoria

Camilla Rosemary - lovely but feels too gentle for royalty.
Carina Mary Gabrielle - I almost wish Mary was Marie or Maria. I love Carina and Gabrielle.
Caroline Louise Marguerite - nothing technically wrong with this name but it isn't the prettiest said aloud.
Carolina Maria Franziska Christina Stephanie - stunningly gorgeous! Franziska just adds so much more than Francesca would.
Caroline Mathilde Adelheid Sibylla Marianne Erika - deadly strong. Absolute warrior name, though I'd drop Caroline and start with Mathilde.
Caroline Matilda Helen Louise Augusta Beatrice - without Louise this name would flow so beautifully. Something just feels tedious about this where other multiple names don't drag as much.
    Caroline Maureen - not great
Cary Davina - doesn't seem overly aristocratic, but it has a good simplicity and structure. I like it a lot as Davina makes Cary seem almost exotic and I like this spelling for a girl more than Carry or Carrie.
Catherine Elizabeth - a famous name, lol. Plain but wearable and regal.
Catherine Lucy Wilhelmina - Lucy Wilhelmina sounds so gothic as these are the names of the female lead characters in Bram Stoker's Dracula, lol. Catherine doesn't seem exciting enough out front.
Catherine Sarah Dorothea - Sarah Dorothea is beautiful and they are each among my favourite names. I don't like Catherine out front nor the repeating 'th' sound.
Cécile Marita Dorothea - it looks pretty but Dorothea looks heavy.
Celia Rose - obviously gorgeous. Also the name of one of my 10 year old students!
Charlotte Clementine - I don't like this combination. Charlotte seems prim and Clementine is a hot mess of a name, imo. lol.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana - another famous name!!! <3
Charlotte Emma Dorothy - I love Charlotte Emma and I could take or leave Dorothy in the combo.
Charlotte Louise Juliette - beautiful. Louise Juliette makes Charlotte look more beautiful than I usually find it to be.
Charlotte Marie Pomeline - it sounds rich and strong. Love it.
Chloe Belinda - pretty but slightly underwhelming these days with the popularity of Chloe.
Cicely Margaret - a gentle name, doesn't feel regal.
Claire Amabel Margaret - I love Claire Amabel but would prefer Marguerite here.
Clare Margaret - looks sleek, I like this spelling of Clare with Margaret.
Clementina Augusta - Clementina is 10000000 times better than Clementine. I like the pronunciation of clemen-TEEN-ah. This is beautiful.
Clementina Gertrude Helen - I like Gertrude Helen but the whole thing feels eccentric.
Clementine Mabell Kitty - Even Clementine can't ruin the obvious amazingness of Mabell Kitty.
    Constance Evelyn - gorgeous!
Constance Pamela Alice - I dislike Alice here.
Cornelia Henrietta Maria - strong and nothing to mess with.
Cosima Rose Alexandra - just beautiful. You can put these names in any order and it would still be perfect.
Cynthia Jane - love Cynthia but not with Jane.
Cynthia Mary Evelyn - a lot of 'Y's. Not bad but I keep seeing Cynthia May instead of Mary, don't know why.

    Favourite
    Carolina Maria Franziska Christina Stephanie

Edmee Elizabeth Monica - too many 'E's in a row.
Edwina Cynthia Annette - gorgeous. I'd prefer if Annette were more substantial like Adele or Anastasia, or Alix.
Edwina Victoria Louise - I would have loved it but for the repeating "wee" sounds in Edwina and Louise.
Eileen Nina Evelyn Sibell - seems messy
    Eleanor Ruth - unexciting
    Eleonora Venetia - stunningly beautiful
Eléonore Fabiola Victoria Anne Marie - perfect! Everything a royal name should be.
Elfrida Eden - dislike the flow.
Elisabeth Thérèse Marie Hélène - a little to sedate for my liking.
Elisabetha Charlotte Josephine Alexandra Victoria - it would have been too obvious for me except for the little 'a' at the end of Elisabeth. That 'a' alone makes the name a favourite.
Eliza Victoria - the best thing about this name is that each 'I' is pronounced differently. I love that!
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary - there is nothing wrong with this name and yet I'm bored.
Elizabeth Alicia Maria - of only Maria were Marie then what a flow it would have.
Elizabeth Angela Marguerite - I'd prefer Angelica Marguerite but I do really like this.
Elizabeth Georgiana Alice - I think Elizabeth takes away from the beauty of Georgiana and Alice is slurring at the end.
Elizabeth Ivy - Ivy is too short.
Elizabeth Lydia Rosabelle - stunning! It isn't the greatest flow but it just looks so pretty and unexpected on the page.
Elizabeth Marion Frances - I love how this manages to be gentle and soothing but also strong and upright.
Elizabeth Sarah Lavinia - Elizabeth and Sarah together feel religious and a little soft. I love Lavinia.
Eloise Anne Elizabeth - Eloise and Elizabeth are nearly the same name? Don't care for this.
Eloise Beatrix Sophie Laurence - too many "ess" sounds
Eloise Olivia Katherine - does't feel regal
Emily Charlotte Mary - not a good flow, sounds common.
Emily Jane - pretty but common.
Emma Alice Margaret - very boring.
Emma Mary - too many 'M's.
Emma Tallulah - too many 'A's. Dislike the styling.
Emmeline Isabelle Edmée - too many 'E's.
Enid Victoria Rachel - I like this. Quirky but with substance and surprise.
Estella Olga Elizabeth - Estella and Elizabeth have too much in common with each other, and yet with Olga in between in becomes beautiful.
Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary - I don't like the flow of Silvia Ewa.
Eugenie Victoria Helena - a famous name! Lovely. I'd prefer either Eugenie Vic. Helene or Eugenia Vic. Helena.
Eva Isabel Marion - beautiful but does't feel royal.
Evelyn Rose - obviously very beautiful.

    Favourite
    Eléonore Fabiola Victoria Anne Marie

Others I like in order of preference:

    Eleonora Venetia
    Edwina Cynthia Annette
    Elisabetha Charlotte Josephine Alexandra Victoria
    Estella Olga Elizabeth
    Eliza Victoria
    Eugenie Victoria Helena
    Evelyn Rose
    Enid Victoria Rachel
    Elizabeth Marion Frances
    Elizabeth Lydia Rosabelle
    Elizabeth Angela Marguerite
