    Mania for M Names!

While I love many female names, I've noticed how strong my love is for M names. I'm both more passionate about M names and like a greater quantity of them.

They pour out of me: Marjorie, Magdalen, Mamie, Marcella, Madeira, Majorca, Minta, Marion, Minerva, Miranda, Minnie, Maple, Mona, Mabel, Mehitabel, Morwenna, Morag, Muriel. Marigold, Madrigal, Meg. Marilla, Marguerite, Margot, Mildred, Millicent, Millie, and on and on.

All I can attribute as a cause is that my great grandmother was Martha, my grandmothers Marcelle, Marjorie, and Marion, my aunt's mother Millicent/Millie, and that m has a soft yet strong sound much like mama or mother.

I am curious if there are other M lovers out there and if so, which are your favorite M names and why do you think you like them so well.

I am also curious what other letters people gravitate toward and why.

PS While I am somewhat drawn to male M names, my male letters are C and R.
