    Lyra or Aurora

My husband and I really like both names but he has his heart set on Aurora. I myself are a little more confused. I'm not sure which one I prefer!

What do you think?? Any middle names suggestions for Aurora and Lyra? :-)

    Thanks! XX

These are both really great names!! I think the easiest way for a tie breaker is looking at the possible nicknames.

Aurora can go by Aura, Aurie, Rora, Rorie, which are all super cute. Aurora is also a beautiful name for a child and a gorgeous name for an adult.

Lyra is also really cute and mysterious, but there aren't any nicknames that come to mind.

I think Aurora is a great name to give your first daughter; hopefully if you have another girl down the road you can name her Lyra!

What about Leora? It sounds like Aurora, but has the "L" beginning. Throwing it in there just in case you might like it. But I do prefer Lyra to Aurora.
