Fancy boy names with spunky nicknames?

I'm thinking along the lines of:

    Augustus or Augustino (nn Gus)

    Francois (nn Frans or Franco)

    Aurelius (nn Re)

    Alistair (nn Al)

    Alessandro (nn Sandy)

    Olivier (nn Oli)

    Benedetto (nn Benny, Ben)

Anyone else have any? As you can probably tell, I'm a sucker for Italian and French names. But I am open to all suggestions. British and Irish also especially welcome.
