It's funny, my fiance and I like Salem all the way up until the other day when we discovered we have a VERY eccentric family member with that name. We opted to take it off the list.

    If Salem's for a girl:

    If Salem's for a boy:

    || Elif Merima Hatidža || Arabela Kada Fatima || Solomija Hadžira Rahima ||
    || Alaga Muhamed Mumin || Rijad Ilijas Mumin || Elham Ibrahim Džan ||

Thanks everyone. I haven't decided if I like it better on a boy or a girl.
I like Soren a lot and while I love Seren it's really similar in sound to my own name and I believe there's a nerve gas called Sarin gas that has a similar pronunciation.
Shilo is actually kind of cute. It isn't one I had ever given much thought to.
Sybil normally isn't my style but it seems to fit with OH's style definitely wouldn't seem out of place at family functions.

Silas? I think it has the exact same charm that Salem has. Maybe that's just me though!

Shilo is a pretty great name... but I might be bit bias :P

I second the suggestion of Silas. It was my first thought. Maybe Fable, Sparrow, Thatcher, Thayer, Hayes
