Grace is a true classic, since it has been in constant use since at least the Middle Ages.
Kathleen and its variants are also classics (although the Irish form isn't as old as Katherine/Catherine).

Vivian is certainly an old name but I wouldn't call it a true "classic": it was never a common name in English-speaking countries. In fact, since St Vivian was a dude, the name was always more common for men.

I'm not sure about classIC but I think it sounds classY

I think it has a very beautiful sound but it's still slightly more "exotic" than Grace or Kathleen imo.

I tend to think of Vivienne as the classic version of this name. More exotic than Kathleen but similar is classic-ness. Vivian always strikes me as a more masculine and therefore more modern version of the name and thus not as classic. (I hope that sort of makes sense somewhere)
