Other ways to spell Malik (pro. Mal-lick)?

So what are your suggestions on how to spell Malik (pro. Mal-lick) differently so that people don't pronounce it Ma-LEAK which my hubby and I both hate? We thought of maybe Malach like Malachi with out the I? Any opinions?

    Maybe Malick?
    You can call me Pascale...

For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
    Never an honest word

Due to my horrible pronunciation, I would pronounce Malach 'mal-latch'. I second Malak.
