@mill1020: I completely agree with you about Winter. I live in Missouri, where we don't get blankets of snow consistently like the northern states do, but it can be ridiculously cold and dreary and the only time winter feels vaguely romantic is when we get that oft-dreamed-of snowfall...until we have to venture forth into.

    Other names I don't "get":

Imogen (yet I love Imogene, thanks to The Best Christmas Pageant Ever)
    Cayden or Brayden
I like Felix, but I don't get why it feels like it's suddenly the go-to name for suggestions.

    I don't get:

Clementine - I'm not sure why but I don't like it, however it seems to be a favourite around here. It's probably the ending that irks me. I prefer Clemence/Clemency.

Harper - It's a tragedy, really. Because I used to play the harp and love it still, but I hate this name. All I see is Steven Harper. :S
Which is why I prefer Lyra.

Emma - Sounds pretty and has a great meaning. But seems incredibly boring and flat due to so much popularity...

Atticus - it's okay, just tired of hearing it.

    Hazel - See Atticus.

Sarah, Jane and Mary - Sound nice, just boring. And two are the names of family members.

Usually, the names I don't get tend to grow on me after a while. This is what happened with Anna, Justine and Schuyler/Skyler. So, I have some hope.

Sloane. But maybe one day it will grow on me.
