LOVE Nancy! I also like Barbara, Daphne, Mary and Anne. Some of them have lengthy histories but to me they qualify as "middle aged" - as does Sylvia which is gorgeous and seems to be coming back with a bang!

Ohhh, yeah! I think mid-century names are sturdy, steady, unfussy, and completely unexpected on a kid today. They stand out--in a good way, I think--among all the Brinleys, Masons, Kaidens, and Lilianas. I could probably name a dozen kids off the 1955 Top 100.

    I like/love:
Deborah, Susan, Cynthia, Nancy, Kathleen, Margaret, Judith, Christine, Bonnie (my #1 name for a girl), Joan, Martha, Dorothy, Phyllis, Elaine, Suzanne, Sally, Maureen
Mark, Kenneth, Timothy, Gregory (in my top 5), Douglas, Bruce, Frank, Dean, Eric, Carl, Alan
    Mom to N
Malcolm, Tristan, Aaron, Garrett, Vincent, Clark, Euan, Thaddeus, Eli or Elias, Wesley, Peter, Nathaniel
Iris, Bridget, Bonnie, Averill, Petra, Saige, Catherine, Yvette, Viviana, Romilly, Martha, Gillian, Grace
