A few of your favorite novels

    Hello berries!

I am sort of cheating a little bit by posting this here but I respect all of your opinions and I couldn't help myself. I love to read and I am in search of those books that you could literally read over and over. I want you to tell me your absolute favorites. I am not picky in subject matter, I'll read anything. But to give you an idea a few of my favorites are, The Kite Runner, Room, Jane Eyre, The Secret Garden, The Light Between Oceans....

I'd appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you!!!

I have so many favorites. This is tough!

Off the top of my head:

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
    Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll
Oryx and Crake and The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood
John Dies at the End and This Book is Full of Spiders (Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It) by David Wong

    Short story collections:
Water and Fire by Robin McKinley and Peter Dickinson
The Barnum Museum by Steven Millhauser

At the moment I'm really enjoying What Maisie Knew. I also love Anna Karenina, The Faerie Queene and Paradise Lost, if you can deal with super dense language.

Oh I just read The Ocean at the End of the Lane and LOVED it! It wasn't what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it. The Princess Bride has been on my "To Read" list forever, I should just start it already!

    Thank you for your reply.
