    Make Alan girly!

We are having our 4th baby girl later this year...This is our last baby, so no boys for my husband...If we ever had a boy the middle name had to be Alan...Long tradition in family. I think it would be neat to turn Alan into a girl form for either first or middle name. We do like Alana, but looking for other options...What do you think??

I know an Alanie (Ah-LAHN-ee) which I've always thought very pretty!
    Lana? (Same letters)
    CALANtha?
    Best of luck!

I like the suggestion of Lana (or even Nala?) or Calantha/Calanthe.

My other thought was Alina/Aliena/Alena. Alina is fairly similar to Alan, anyway?

    Good luck!

What about Alanis? It's the feminine form of Alan.

Jasper Samuel Orion | Henrik Peter/Peter Henrik
    Alaric James | Theodore ?
Lilith Maria | Charlotte Amara | Katarina Ivy | Beatrix Illyria

    Gemma | Cora | Rosalind | Luna | Elijah | Jeremy
Thoughts in this thread? I'll return the favor.

    Alannah is kind of nice.

Ilana is unrelated but a name I like.

Alice is appealing and classic, but not really truly related to Alan. It does have a similar feel to me though.
