    MN suggestions for Rachel?

    Hello all-
We're excitedly expecting a little girl that needs a middle name! My husband and I chose Rachel for our daughter's first name but can't come up with a middle name that we both love. So far one of the top contenders is Anne, but since our last name is very short and pretty common (think Scott), I'm afraid it just sounds too short and simple.
    Our main considerations are:
    • something that fits but isn't too similar to her angel brother's name (Gabriel Benjamin)
    • something that fits but isn't too similar to the other boy's name we love in case we have another son down the road (Nathan Christopher)
    • I'd like something on the longer side (i.e. three syllables) to give her name a nice flow and jazz it up a bit.

Thanks for any help you can give us!
Mom of one angel baby boy, Gabriel Benjamin, and one baby girl, Rachel Naomi

I think Rachel is very pretty. Personally, I would use a longer mn with your surname. However, if Anne has special meaning for you that fact would trump any flow concern. I mean how often do we use our mn's in real life anyway?

    Rachel Alexandra
    Rachel Penelope
    Rachel Vivienne
    Rachel Gwendolyn
    Rachel Theodora
    Rachel Euphemia

Rachel is an extremely well-known, strong sounding name. I'd pair it with something a little obscure and on the softer side.
    Rachel Hermione
    Rachel Desiree
    Rachel Eirian
    Rachel Adriana
    Rachel Roselyn
    Rachel Kennedy
    Rachel Esmerie
    Rachel Mazarine
    Rachel Corisande
    Rachel Annaliese

I prefer the french names most.
