I don't like Lane for a boy. It sounds like a girl's name to me; especially since Laney is quite popular!

I love this name! If I had been a boy my parents were going to name me Lane after the bull-rider Lane Frost. I would love to use Lane for a future boy either as a first or middle name.

I find Lane very feminine. I prefer it spelled Layne, but wither way it isn't for a boy.

I like the name Lane for a boy, but I prefer it spelled Layne since the "Lane" spelling makes me think of a traffic lane or something. I dont think of Lane as being feminine because I would Lainey for a girl.

Lane is great for a boy. I love short names for boys. Go with it!
