Are you opposed to Laurel? Not dated or too common and it has a lovely nature association.

I prefer Laura. I think it sounds timeless & pretty and is my favourite name used in my generation(80's born). I had a friend in high school with the name.

For some reason I don't like the name Lauren. Even though it is my best friend of 7 years name!! I did know a few growing up. I do like the potential of Wren for a nickname though.

Go with what your gut tells you!

I like Lauren more, probably because I hear every day (it's my sister's name). Her full name is Lauren Anne Elizabeth.

My name is Laura so I'm biased but I agree that it's more of the timeless name. I was named after my mother's grandmother who was named Laura.
