    I would use a hyphen. I am not sure how she uses it, but isn't one of the Olsen twins named that? It seems to work for her as a double first name.

    I think you should use Mary-Kate as the first name if you want people to call her/know her as Mary-Kate. Mary Kathryn is nice too though.

    I prefer Mary Kathryn as first and middle, with Mary Kate (no hyphen) as the nickname. I don't think it'd be complicated to say, "This is Mary Kathryn, we're calling her Mary Kate." It's not any more complicated than saying "This is Elizabeth, we're calling her Beth."

    I adore Mary Kate. I would also use a hyphen.

    Amelie Clara (2008) & Daisy Madeline (2013).

    I prefer the look of it without the hyphen, so I'd go with Mary Kate.
