    Sister for Elisabeth?

I would like a longer name that can have a nickname. We have an Elisabeth nn Ellie so I would like to do the same for her. We are thinking mn Sarah so no names ending in "a".

    Some I like:
    Penelope/Penny or Pippi
    Evangeline/Eve
    Josephine/Josie
Love Lucy too. But the only full name I like is Louisa and I'm not sure Louisa Sarah sounds good.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

I love Penelope! And Elisabeth and Penelope are lovely for sisters. I like Poppy and Lola more than Penny or Pippi, but Pippy or Pippa would be adorable. I love Evangeline and Evie (and Eva), but I'm not sure how I feel about Elisabeth and Evangeline as sisters. I think Elisabeth and Josephine would be lovely, together, too.

    Good luck!

Love Josephine and Evangeline, but think Penelope Sarah flows best. Lucy Sarah sounds nice with Lu as a short NN, but if you want a long name, some which are similar are: Lucinda, Lucille, Cecelia (NN Cece), Selina (NN Lina), Valentina (NN Teeny), Anabell (NN Annie), Beatrice/Beatrix (NN Bea). There are many more names which would go well with Elisabeth, but my faves would be Penelope Sarah or Beatrice Sarah. HTH.xx
