Simeon or Gideon? Gideon! I would love to meet a little Gideon! Simeon is nice, but I know a little Simeon and he just doesn't seems as nice and a little Gideon would be. If you get what I mean
Gideon or Gable? Little Gid again. Gable is NMS.
Malachi or Mordecai? Malachi! One of my favourite names.
Hugh or Hugo? Hugo. Love the book & movie, love the name.
Cobalt or Roan? Roan. As pp said, Roan seems more like a name.
Will or Shale? Will for me. I don't really like Shale, I prefer Shea.

Willa or Della? Della is so bright and sunny.
Willa or Willow? Willow seems a bit more like a name, while Willa is a bit nicknamey for me.
Adelaide or Adeline? Adeline. I know a couple Adelaides in their mid forties.
Lilac or Lark? Ahhh both. Both are lovely!
Fern or Wren? I have been liking Fern lately, but Wren is definitely my choice!
Moriah or Sarai? I keep wanting to say Mariah. Sarai is very pretty.
Melora or Moriah? Melora is gorgeous!
Marilla or Marcella? Woo! Anne of Green Gables! I like both, but Marilla gets my vote.
Cadence or Carys? Carys. I love Carys.
Ruby or Pearl? Pearl. Very pretty.
Delaney or Connelly? Connelly! I love the nickname Connie.
Eliora or Eleni? Eleni. But both aren't really my style.
Annika or Azalea? Azalea. neither are really my style though.
Verity or Vivienne? Vivienne is lovely!
Eliza or Elsa? Both are pretty, but I like Eliza the best.

Hazel or Gable? Hazel. I really like Hazel.
Ruby or Reuben? Hmm.. Reuben. But both are NMS.
Cadence or Kenyon? Ditto above, but Cadence. It seems more like a name.
    Jude, blackbird.

Simeon -- Gideon sounds like a grouchy old British man to me.
Gable -- Same. Plus Gable! Amazing.
Malachi or Mordecai? Eh...not enthusiastic about either.
Hugh -- Don't know why, but Hugo feels a bit feminine to me.
Cobalt or Roan? Must I choose? Roan. Maybe. I dunno. I'm a sucker for a good color name.
Shale -- I hate the full name and all it's derivatives for personal reasons that are completely irrelevant. Plus Shale is awesome.

Della -- I just think Della is a little more sophisticated, but I like them both a lot.
Willa -- No good reason except that now my mind goes straight to Willow Smith.
Adeline -- Adeline feels a little more modern, I like that.
Lark -- Lark just sounds like the name of someone you want to get to know.
Wren -- I like the sound of Fern, but for some reason the thought of a person named after a fern makes me giggle.
Sarai -- Sarai is a little cooler.
Melora -- Melora has a sweeter sound to me.
Marcella -- Really like them both, I just appreciate the less-common name with an -ella ending.
Carys -- Just can't get into the name Cadence.
Pearl -- I have a sneaking suspicion that Ruby is going to get super popular, and I like the vowel sound of Pearl better.
Delaney or Connelly? Again, cannot choose! I love both. Maybe Delaney a little more, but only because it has all of my favorite letters in it.
Eleni -- Both are nice, but Eleni is just a great name to me. Eleni sounds like a cool girl. Eliora sounds a little sweet and shy.
Azalea -- Love them both, but I'm a fan of the Z sound.
Vivienne -- Vivienne is just a little smoother, more suave and sophisticated.
Elsa -- I have an irrational dislike for all Elizabeth derivatives besides Liz, and I love the name Elsa.

Girls/boys (The name on the left I would use for a girl, the name on the right I would use for a boy. I just couldn't use both.):
Gable -- Such a good name! Adding to my list. And I have weird childhood associations with Hazel that prevent me from liking it.
Ruby -- Not a big fan of Reuben. I think sandwich.
Kenyon -- Again, not crazy about Cadence, but Kenyon is the bee's knees!!

    Such great names!!
