    The name is still the same whether you spell it Gwen, Gwin or Gwyn. I prefer Gwendolyn tho. If you really twisted my arm, I'd say Gwyndolyn, but it doesn't look right to me.

    If I had to choose from one of those spellings, I would pick Gwyndolyn. Gwindolyn looks totally made up.

    The Gwin names seem fake to me, but I could be wrong.
    My first choice would Violet Marilyn. I love Marilyn and I am always surprised it hasn't comeback.

    I've only seen Gwen and Gwyn- names before, so I would assume they are both legitimate (though I think "wyn" in this culture is masculine whereas "wen" is a feminine part of a name). I wouldn't use Gwin- in the name because as others have pointed out, it doesn't look "right."

    So of the two options, I'd go for Violet Gwyndolyn.
