    Peregrine or Crispin for nn Pip?

    I thought I was set on Peregrine, but Crispin is creeping up on me...what do you berries think?

    i may be biased because iknow a Peregrine, but i think you should stick with it. Peregrine is a lovely naturey name that can be worn well with or without the nickname. Crispin reminds me of a cereal or a crispy snack... and i think playground kids will reconize that too

    I don't like the word "crisp" is Crispin. My pet rabbit is named Pip, short for Philip. Peregrine/Pip is a nice nod to the Hobbit. However, there was a female Peregrine as a contestant on a reality show a few years ago. I don't know how popular the show really was, so maybe no one else would even make that connection, but since then the name sounds feminine to me. I think it's actually the -rine ending. It's reminiscent of Catherine.

    Peregrine, for sure, or Philip.

    I don't understand why like the name Crispin so much, honestly, all I hear is "crisp/crispy". Sorry.
