    How do you say Marigold?

    Mara-gold? Mary-gold? Something else?

    Thank you!

I say Mare-a-gold, but I think any of them are correct.

Mare (as in the horse) - ih (was in ick) - gold (as in the word gold)

    as dictionary.com says:
    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/marigold?s=t

    http://www.forvo.com/word/marigold/

apparently some say it as Mar-ee-gold, but I have never heard that.

I agree with the others. MARE-ih-gold. The two pronunciations you listed would be MARE-ee-gold or MAR-ah-gold, respectively, which are different to me.
