    Please spare any hypothetical child the burden of carrying Hildegarde through life. This would be an awesome name for a watchdog though!

    I'm curious what attracts you to Hildegarde?

    Well, I like Hildegarde, and would be extremely charmed to see it on a little girl. I love the nickname Hilda, which you could probably use as a full name if you were unsure about Hildegarde.
