I heard this on a little boy the other day at work and thought it was rather cute. I've never really warmed up to it on a girl, but I think it works just as well on a boy...Pushing sleeping beauty associations aside.

I prefer it on a girl, but I think it is one that works well on a boy also

It works on both. Underused nature names tend to be unisex in my opinion. I do like it on both, but I would never use it on a boy because I tend to like very masculine names on boys.

I think it's fine on a boy. It reminds me of Br'er Rabbit

If Greer is unisex, why not Briar? It's fine for a boy especially if take the point he most likely won't know any girls with this name.
