    I don't care for it. I think it too long and too much of a mouthful. Unless of course he went by Bart. Even then I don't like the name Bart.

    I actually think Bartholomew is very cool! It is a bit long but sound wise Bartholomew doesn't seem as crazy as Sebastian or Alexander. With the nn's Art/Ollie it definitely could work!

    You are not crazy at all. Bartholomew isn't a personal favorite, but with Ignatius, Erasmus, Waldo, and Clifford all on my long list, it definitely doesn't seem unwearable to me.

    I think it's perfectly useable, although not really my style. It is long, but it has that galloping rhythm that makes it roll of the tongue without too much fuss. Also has some great nn options... Ollie would be cute for when he's young.
