    If your kid was going to be named John Wayne Gacey or Ted Bundy or something that would be an issue. James Everett? Never heard of him. Just use the name.

    I think it's fine. I didn't know the guy's name until I read this post. Go ahead and use it.

    Boys: David, Eric, Finlay, George, James, Jude, Lee, Michael, Paul, Richard, Rory.

    Girls: Emmanuelle, Frederica, Jayne, Juliet, Lauren, Mary, Molly, Nora, Raffaela, Stella.

    James Everett is an awesome name, and I highly doubt people will make the connection. I understand that it bothers you though, and it probably would bother me too. Maybe you could switch the names around. Everett James would be a handsome name.

    Don't do it-as you have already both got it in your head so it has negative connotations. Anyway your hubby was not sold on it-so let us help you choose another really quick! xx
    (But I totally agree with the others-never heard of him).
    Why not: Everett James???

    Thanks everyone. I think it would just be hard for me to do it now, especially since neither name is family, or significant in any other way...
    We are brainstorming- may keep James, but ditch Everett.
