Not so fun fact: The Airedale terrier dog breed used to be known as the "Bingley Terrier". It would be ok for a pet but I can't warm to it for a human. Fun fact: Singer/actor Bing Crosby's real name was Harry Lillis Crosby.
    All the best,

I could never take it seriously. However, I have a good friend with the nn Bing/ Bings... I do love it as a nn. Maybe name him Charles, but nn him Bing/ Bings.

I absolutely love P&P, but Bingley is one of the few names from it I don't like. It just doesn't seem very first name-y (perhaps ironic since I love Darcy and Fitzwilliam which are technically both surnames). Bing seems silly as a name because of the search engine.

I honestly don't like it. To me it's a last name and it remind's me too much of Chandler Bing from Friends.

This. Bing- names are just so silly sounding to me.
