    Angry HELP! I need creative Berries!!

    Okay, here's the thing...

    I am trying to find some names that would actually have some meaning behind it, even if I have to make it up. I don't just want a name, "because I like it." If that makes any sense! And I definitely don't want a common name.

    Anyways... For instance, my mother's name is Laura and my father's name is Harry. However, I don't like either name, at all! My mom's middle name, Lynn, is too popular and my dad's is Tawes. I do kind of like Tawes, but it sounds too much like Todd. I have a half sister, Carrie, who was named after my dad's mother and a half brother, Brian. Again, I don't like those names, at least not as first names. On my mom's side, her parents, my grandparents, were Jeanne and Wilbur. My mom has 5 sisters, Donna, Wendy, Holly, Brenda, and Alice, so those names are out. Also, my "sister," which is a girl I've pretty much raised since she was born, is named Lauren Louise. My name is Hilary Jeanne. As for my husband, he is Justin David. And we don't want his family in any part of this. They are absolutely horrible, we don't even associate with them - it's sad.

    Bottom line, can anyone think of anything that means or sounds or anything with any of these names below?....

    Suggestions????? Help! Thanks!!

    I'm not trying to avoid repeats, so they might occur.

    Laura - (sound) Laurette, Laurabeth, Laureen,Maura, Nora (meaning) Daphne, Stan (apparently...)
    Lynn - (sound) Lynette, Maylyn, Gracelyn, Evelyn (meaning) Lake, Odette, Vivien, Rudyard
    Harry - (sound) Henry, Harrison, Larry, Lawrence (meaning) Michael, William, Eric, Frederick... ("ruler" gets a lot of responses)
    Carrie - (sound) Carys, Catherine, Cathleen, Cassandra (meaning) Adam, Simon ("free man" also gets a lot of responses)

    That's all I have time for at the moment - might be back later. Good luck!

    You could honor them with variations or similar names

    Laura/Lauren = Laurel, Lara, Laurence, Loretta
    Rhyming with Laura = Cora, Nora, Flora
    Lynn = Flynn, Finn
    Harry = Henry, Henrietta, Harold, Harriet
    Carrie = Carolyn, Caroline, Cassie, Cara, Carol (Carolyn would combine Carrie + Lynn).
    Brian = Brielle, Briella, Brianna, Briar, Briony, Bree
    Louise = Eloise, Louis, Louisa, Louisiana, Lulu, Lola, Lucy
    Wilbur = William, Willa, Wilhelmina
    Jeanne = Anne, Annabelle, Jean, June, Joan, Jenna, Janine, Jeanette
    Rachel = Ray, Shelley, Raquel
    Bessie = Any variation of Elizabeth, Tess, Tessie
    Beatrice = Beatrix
    Emerson = Emma, Gemma, Jemima, Emmeline, and to honour Lynn Emmalynn
    Wolfford = Wolf, Wolfgang, Ford
    Talmidge = Talia, Taleah, Tahli, Tali
    The Midge of Talmidge could be a nn for Margaret or any variant of Margaret.
    Tawes = Dawes, Dawson. For some reason it also reminds me of Tate.
    Iris = Ida, Ivy or maybe a different flower name? Violet, Rose
    Justin = Justine, Dustin
    Hilary = Hailey, Ilaria
