How close is too close, twins

Is it weird if they both have the same first letter? What if they are each one syllable.
Would it be better if the styles matched, or were completely different? Maybe just some what similar. What do you think?

I think it depends entirely on the names. I usually prefer similar style vs. same letter, but I think either could work just fine.

I did know a set named Maisy and Daisy though - wasn't a fan!

I think it changes from person to person. I know several twins with extremely matchy names, similar names, and very different names. I think it's cute for the letters to match. If I had twin girls I would reverse initials: Clara Leonie and Lucy Cecilia so there names connect but in a subtle way so they still retain some individuality.

Do you have specific examples in mind? I don't think there are hard and fast rules. Nothing wrong with each being one syllable, or starting with the same letter, in my opinion. Just as with any sibset, I would not select dramatically different styles, lengths or syllable count.

I'm a twin and my sister and I have completely different initials. I'm Isabelle Marie & my twin is Sabrina Desiree.

I don't think there is anything wrong with having the same letter for their names. My parents disagreed on this, my mum wanted us to have the same initials but my dad said no won in the end!

Other twins I know: Alison & Belinda, Rachel & Natasha, Camillus & Clement, Alexandra & Emily, Leanne & Rachael
