I love the name John but I'm not too fond of it with a brother named Jonah. What about John Lucas or John Luca? The Luke sound is still there but isn't as choppy as John Luke.

I love Ezra John for you!

John by itself is a little plain and is rather close to Jonah. However, John Luke as a double barrel first sounds lovely. I'm considering John-Henry myself, after John Henry the Steel-driving Man!

I said the name a few times and realized it sounded awfully familiar. Then I remembered why I seem to really like the combo. Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation is a great namesake (Jean is pronounced the French way). But, just FYI, incase you didn't know, that a boy named John Luke will have people ask if you are Trekkies.

I think John Luke sounds pretty good. (I love Johnny as a nickname.)
