Mix and Match Anglo-Saxon
Laurence and Evelyn Whitby are both professors of Anglo-Saxon history. They have found names for their six children using traditional Anglo-Saxon naming conventions. Flip a coin to find the gender of each child - heads for a girl, tails for a boy. Choose the first element of the name from the first list (these are unisex). Combine this with an element from the second list (these are gender specific). Middle names are your choice.
NB: This is a huge simplification of Anglo-Saxon naming conventions! Not all the combinations will result in authentic Anglo-Saxon names but some of them will.
