    Xander vs Zander??

Hey berries just looking for some opinions. Recently I have been loving the name Zander, however I know this isn't the traditional spelling, which is Xander (as in Alexander). However I don't love Alexander so I would only use the name Zander on its own, not as a nickname.

My question is this do you think spelling the name Zander will be more confusing for people or will it make it more logical for people? For me I feel Zander will be pronounced correctly more often because it is more family that the X letter. Or maybe it is just me. I would really just like to know other people's thoughts on the two and which looks better, will be pronounced correctly more often, etc...

I love the name Zander and I prefer it spelled as Zander. Either is fine though.

While I prefer the Xander spelling, I have a feeling that the Zander spelling wouldn't have as many pronunciation issues as Xander (some people pronounce the X like an X not a Z).
    All the best,

I vote for Zander. Seems more open to me. The X kind of stops the name before it gets started. Plus Z is worth more in scrabble.

Xander. It is on my long list. I don't think it would cause confusion because most people are familiar with Alexander. I actually think he would have to correct people more often on how to spell it if you go with's Zander with a Z not an X.
