    Virginia would be refreshing on a young girl. (Country singer Patsy Cline's first name was actually Virginia.) If you're really on the fence, Virginia would make an excellent middle name.

    I absolutely love this name. I know two (grandmother/grand daughter) and neither had been teased for that reason. The grand daughter goes by Ginny. I don't think kids these days tease based on name anymore, more on personal behavior. (please vote!)

    The only Virginia I know was my great grandma. But she loved her name. She went by Ginny and Vergie when she was younger.
