Cecilia - grandmother's middle name (and I think maybe a great-(great?)-grandmother's first name)
Anastasia - great-grandmother's name (although she went exclusively by Nancy; most of the family didn't even know her legal name until she died!)
Veronica - great-aunt (goes by Vernie, though; ugh!)
Josie - another great-grandmother's name; not sure if it was short for Josephine or Jocelyn, but I do think it's a really cute nickname!
    Dominic - grandfather's middle name
William - great-uncle; went by Billy (ugh)

Those are really the only family names I love. The rest are either boring or real clunkers, IMO.

This makes me wish that my husband and I knew our family trees better! Most of the names we know are surnames used as given or middle names:

    Commodore - dad's middle name
    Anderson - great uncle
Stewart - mom's maiden name, but I love it as a first name
    Joplin - MIL's maiden name
Bonnie - mom's name, would love to use but DH would never go for it
    Ruth - grandma

Thomas - brother's name, does that count? I love it
Ross - Grandpa's name, my aunt and I's mns. I think it'd be a great spunky unexpected 1 syllable mn.
Elizabeth - mom and grandma's names. Classic.
Josephine - great grandma, sister's mn, 2 cousins with the name. I'd love to pass it on.
Hale - grandma's maiden name. Was considered had I been a boy.

I really don't know my family tree
