Not that this is something completely new. After all, way back when, DianeKeaton named her daughter DexterDean, Kelsey Grammer had girls called Spencer and Mason, and MileyCyrus’s parents named their next daughter Noah. But lately the trend of celebrities giving their female offspring completely male— not unisex— names has been wildly escalating. Here are some of the most extreme gender-benders. Weston and Easton are both traditional boys’ names, but Easton seems to be starting to tip over into the girls’ side after being chosen by Elizabeth Rohm for her daughter. Boys’ names starting with E seem to be particularly susceptible to gender-bending, as in Emerson, Emery and El(l)iot(t).
