The name Zoe comes from zoo. (Or maybe zoo comes from "zoe" the Greek word "life")

I like this. It is a bit goofy though.

I always say zoo-ee before correcting myself.

For the longest time people in the media kept calling her "zoo-ey". Keep it simple with Zoé, Zoë, Zoe, Zoey if you don't want people doing the same to your daughter.

Zoe is quite nice but Zooey looks silly. It definitely should be pronounced like Zoo-ee not Zo-ee. I can understand choosing the Zoey spelling but Zooey? Just don't go there!

Zooey Deschanel is beautiful, but her name isn't. It reminds me of the zoos xD
I'm not a big fan of Zoe, although I prefer the Zoë spelling.

But how do you pronounce it? It can't be zoo-ee, can it? Zoe is lovely as is.
