Pop Culture References for the name Nathaniella

Myosotis Says:

I use this as a (second) middle for a character, specifically as a way to feminise Nathaniel, and to sound a bit silly. Didn't realise it was an actual/official feminisation. XD But I don't think it's awful. There are way worse names.

Aethelflaed Says:

Nathaniel is one of my very favorite names, and I have long been intrigued by this feminized version.

Caroline Says:

Although, She could have nicknames like Ella, Ellie or Nellie!

Caroline Says:

Too long for a little girl!! Imagine her trying to spell that in kindergarten!! :P

KimmyBee Says:

Josephine sounds okay. It actually sounds like a girls name. Nathaniella sounds so silly to me. Like a feminine boy. A joke kind of name.

EvaThyssen Says:

Nathaniella and Antonella got salmonella.

SweetPraline Says:

One of those pretty on paper names that is way too much of a mouthful to be taken seriously as a name choice.

alexandramae Says:

Nathaniella, and the more common Nataniela (Nataniel is a name, too, btw. just making sure you know that) is a name that has been used longer than you've been alive (think before 1900). Take the time to consider that names aren't fitted around english speaking or white countries and aren't here for your scorn just because they seem weird or ridiculous to you.

bootsie Says:

Uh, feminizing male names has been a rather old tradition?

Theodora_Phoenix Says:

I know that. That's what I named my deceased sibling. Anyway what I'm trying to say this was more likely intended to be a feminine version of Nathaniel, not Nathan. Sorry if I wasn't clead.

rq79 Says:

Yes I realize that... It's a joke

rq79 Says:

Nathan is also a name...

Theodora_Phoenix Says:

It's not a boys name with with iella on the end. It's a boy's name with la at the end, as Nathaniel is actually a name.

Zoey_Artemisia Says:

I think it would be a good feminisation without the 'a' on the end but it could be mostaken for Nathaniel.

P.S the feminine version of Joseph is Josephine.

rq79 Says:

Let's just take any boys name and add "(i)ella" on the end! Josephiella, Williamella, Jackiella.

amberdaydream Says:

Stunning... but too much of a mouthful.
