Anneliese is a German and Dutch combination of Anna and Liese (a form of Elizabeth) with an Old World feel but modern appeal. The Anglicized Annalise spelling in in the US Top 500, but this authentic German version has only ever broken into the US Top 1000 once, back in 2005.

This combination of names Aubrey and Brielle follows a ton of current name trends, so it's no surprise it has been on the rise since joining the US Top 1000 in 2012. We think this is a good option for parents wanting to use Aubrey while also desiring a definitively feminine name.

The Maisie spelling may be more widely used, but Maisy is perfectly proper and also makes the British Top 100. And as Maisy, she feels like a closer relative to Daisy, another Margaret diminutive.
