I love Ginger as a nn!
Awesome! Could you tell me what her brothers were named?
I'm loving all the suggestions, thank you! I didn't think of Constance, silly me... I love Constance! And a whole lot of the other suggestions, Primrose in particular, but I'll go through them all more thoroughly and save the best in my mental Virginia file ^^
I'm not too fond of the
Ginger nickname, though, I much prefer Ginny...
How about some boy names to go with all these lovely ladies?
That would be very much appreciated! :)
I love the name Constance, and I have been forgetting about it.
Boys' names to go with Virginia:
Well, George of course since George Washington was from Virginia.
Albert
Charles
Chester
Edward
Frank
George - had to put it in twice
Grant
Henry
James
John
Lawrence
Miles
Nathaniel
Peter
Philip
Richard
Robert
Theodore
Thomas
William
The Virginia we know has a brother named Anthony and a sister named Lisa. I don't think any of those names go together.
Wow, I just noticed that my list is really different from Elea's. Mine is kind of proper Early American and hers is more fun and vintage. It's funny how we can have such different views of the same name.
For me, Constance feels really Early American, too. I love the Early American style. I think it's really warm and woodsy and cozy. It's how I decorate my house, but I call the way I decorate angry country because it isn't cutesy.
