Re: List of Favourite names (Girls)

Frances - Seems old lady to me. I really like Francesca

Clio - Not loving this. I like Chloe or Clotilde better.

Evengelina/Evie - Evangelina is pretty, not a fan of Evie (reminds me of the character on that "Out of This World" TV show...I think that's what it was called).

Lydia - Not bad, reminds me of "Pride and Prejudice"

Azura - Pretty

Indigo - Makes me think of dingo.

Adelaide - Not my favourite.

Harriet - I'm not a fan of this one.

Cody - I don't love many unisex names.

Mallory - Makes me think of The Babysitters Club books

Rory - Gilmore Girls...I prefer Aurora, Rory as a nn

Names I like but am less likely to use/Maybe middle names:

Luna - Cute, especially as a middle name
Marina - I really like this one
Blue - Not a fan (would go with Azura instead)
Beatrix - I prefer Beatrice
Faith - I don't hate it but not one of my favourites
Felicity - Same as Faith
Flora - Not a fan
Bridget - Pretty, not my fave

Names I like but would probably never, ever use:
Lorelai - Gilmore Girls...not my fave
Cassiopia - Not feeling this one
Lolita - Nabokov...I prefer Lola
Wednesday - Addams...I just see a pale girl with pigtails

Re: List of Favourite names (Girls)

Frances - I have bad associations with this name but if I didn't I'm sure I would love this name

Clio - I prefer it spelt Cleo but I think the name is lovely

Evengelina/Evie - prefer Evangeline, but it's a bit too much for me, Evie is so cute though

Lydia - this is gorgeous

Azura - really like this but I don't know if I could see an adult with it

Indigo - I prefer this for a boy but it could make a cute middle name

Adelaide - Love this so much, beautiful

Harriet - Cute, especially with the nickname Hattie

Cody - not sure about this one, prefer Cori/Cory short for Coralie/Cordelia/Coriander

Mallory - I like this, sounds very uplifting, not so keen on the meaning

Rory - Really like this, on it's own or as a nickname for Aurora

Names I like but am less likely to use/Maybe middle names:

Luna - Lovely as a middle name

Marina - So pretty, love Marine as well

Blue - Prefer Indigo or other colours like Scarlet or Violet

Beatrix - one of my top favourite names, love Beatrice as well

Faith - not so keen on this, prefer Prudence or Harmony as a virtue name

Felicity- this is so beautiful, as a first name I love it with the nickname Fliss or Flossie

Flora - This is so cute, love it as a change from more popular flower names

Bridget - I like Brigid a little bit better, I thinkit sounds slightly softer, but it's a fabulous name

Names I like but would probably never, ever use:
Lorelai - I really like this :)
Cassiopia - a bit much maybe, like Cassia better
Lolita - quite like this one, but still unsure, I think it's growing on me though
Wednesday - If they were born on a wednesday I think that it's could be sweet as a middle name but as a first name I think it's a bit much

Fantastic list, LOVE your style :)

Of your first category, you got my favorite name, Lydia. I also like Evangeline(a) with the nickname Evie, Rory is cute, and I do like the nickname Hattie for Harriet. I'm not a fan of color/word names for the most part, and Frances would be a very pretty middle name.

Of the second category, Luna and Bridget are my favorite. The others are a bit too out-there for me, and Faith and Felicity just don't sit well with me. Faith is a bit cheesy and popular for me, and Felicity always reminds me of the American Girl dolls.

Of the final category, my favorite is the mythological Cassiopeia. Very interesting, pretty, and has cute nicknames. I don't care for Wednesday, but I do find January rather intriguing as an alternative!

Re: List of Favourite names (Girls)

I thought of some more I quite like.

Delores - Many nickname options
Dinah - rhymes with China
Diana
Lotus - More as a MN. It's a lovely word
Cera - Seh-rah - Softer than Sair-ah
Kari
Sora

Re: List of Favourite names (Girls)

More ae...

Delores - Like, prefer it spelt Dolores though. I started off almost hating this name but it has really grown on me. Love the nn Lola

Dinah - Would love if it didn't sound so much like a diner where you go to eat

Diana - Love:) I still think of the princess

Lotus - Not a fan. I straight away see lotus position. That's yoga by the way...

Cera - If it's pronounced the same as Sara than why not just use that? I do like this spelling though, I just think it would have pronunciation issues.

Kari - Doesn't seem like a complete name to me. I like Carrie or Kerry

Sora - I don't know why but I immediatly thought of the mask of Zoro. Not loving this one...
