Popular names you just don't 'get'.

Are there any names that are popular (maybe in another country or your own) but you don't see the appeal.
Audrey seems to be really popular on here but to me it's an old ladies name. I can't imagine anyone under the age of 40 with that name but everyone here seems to love it.

Charlotte
I just don't get the appeal of Charlotte...
Where other's see elegance and history, I just see tackyness and wannabe vintage...
I just don't like Charlotte, but to be honest I wish I did... I don't want to have such strong dislike for any name, especially one like Charlotte which has all the qualities of a good name something my brain completely understands, but my heart just doesn't like Charlotte...
Also, I always read Violet as Violent so that one's out as well, but I like her more than Charlotte...
Actually, I recently found out I'm not too fond of names ending in T: Violet, Charlotte, Scarlett/Scarlet, Juliet and so on... I think the T ending is a bit too abrupt for my liking...

^I liked Charlotte when I was younger but now it's overdone. Like Jessica. Popularity killed that name for me too.
I don't really understand why people keep calling their kids Jack and Charlie either.
Seems like everyone, even on TV shows, seems to use these names for their sons. They've been so over done by this point that they've lost all personality to me. I can't even create a mental image of what Jack or Charlie should look like because I've seen so many.

I prefer it spelt Neava but it's not my favourite either.
Nevaeh seems like it has too many extra letters for me

I don't get Jacob for some reason . . . I guess it just seams too trendy. This is odd, though, because I like other trendy biblical names like Elijah and Isaiah.
I also don't get Aidan because it also seems too trendy, but it is a perfectly legitimate name.
Heaven is a name that's hard to understand: to me it seems like naming your child nirvana.

Emery. Just makes me think of emery boards (nail files). As if it suggests the child has an abrasive personality ;)

Yep, for me its Penelope, which seems to be really popular on here.
It just reminds me of a middle aged actress in the UK (Penelope Keith) and Penelope Pitstop! Also the nn Penny I can't stand and the can't see how the nn Poppy arises from the name. Poppy as a stand alone name is quite common over here - I know two young Poppy's and find that cute
